Class Policies

• To reserve your spot in any class, you will need to sign up in advance and pay at the time you sign up.  Many classes will have space limitations because of classroom size and to make sure you get the best education possible.
• Registration can be done online, in person or over the phone.
• To prevent class cancellations and to ensure you get a spot in the class you want, students are encouraged to register early, as most classes will have a minimum sign-up cancellation policy.

• Students should check with the shop before purchasing any fabric, kits and/or major supplies for a class, in the event of cancellation.

• The Class Fee must be paid when you sign up for the class to guarantee your seat.
• Cut Up and Sew will not "hold" a seat for you.  Full payment of the Class Fee guarantees your seat.

• Students are given 15% off any supplies required by the instructor.

• Classes canceled by Cut Up and Sew will be fully refunded to each student or, if preferred, students may receive store credit.

• If you are unable to make a class or event, please contact Cut Up and Sew 72 hours/3 days prior to the start date of such class or event to receive a full refund.

• There are no refunds for cancellations made less than 72 hours/3 days before the start date of a class.  Your class fee can be applied towards another class or returned in the form of store credit.

• There are no refunds on class fees for "Special Event" or outside teachers/classes within 30 days of the event date unless we can fill your spot with another person. 

• Refunds will not be provided for "No Shows".

• Refunds will not be provided for partial attendance.

• If you have a major emergency and need to cancel your attendance at a class, up to the time of such class we will work with you to either make up the class or provide you with a store credit.

• Cut Up & Sew requests that class participants DO NOT show up more than 30 minutes before class as the classroom is often occupied by another class or staff meeting. 15 - 20 minutes early should give you enough time to set up before the class starts.

• All class participants are asked to turn off cellular phones (or place on vibrate).  If a call is necessary, please leave the room to complete the call.

• PLEASE DO NOT WEAR PERFUME to class due to allergies of others.
