Fabric:
T-shirt knit fabric is a soft and stable knit perfect for sewing tees, lightweight pullovers and pajamas. T-shirt knit is typically 100% cotton or a cotton blend with 2-way stretch. Curling is minimal making it easy to sew with.
The fabric should have at least 15% stretch, meaning, if you hold 4 inches of fabric across the width, you can easily stretch it to 4 5/8 inches.
Fabric Yardage:
Children 2-7: 1 yard
Children 8-13: 1 ½ yards
Adult XS-1X: 1 ½ yards
Adult 2X: 2 ¼ yards
