Unlock the full creative potential of your Baby Lock embroidery machine with IQ Designer—or join us with a Brother machine using My Design Center. This class series is designed to guide you step by step, starting at the very beginning and building a strong foundation for future creativity.
Session 1: Foundations
This is an introductory class covering the basics of IQ Designer / My Design Center and is perfect for new owners or anyone needing a refresher.
We will start at the beginning and cover:

Navigating the screen and understanding the various buttons
-
Properties and Fill tools
-
Scanning techniques
-
Positioning and Editing designs
-
Saving and retrieving your designs
If you are new to IQ Designer or My Design Center, this session will give you the essential skills needed to confidently move forward into the IQ Designer Studio Series project sessions. If it’s been a while since you’ve used the program, this is also an excellent brush-up class.
IQ Designer Studio Series – Monthly Project Sessions
After completing Session 1, continue learning with stand-alone, project-based sessions. Each additional session is independent, and registration is required for each class individually.
These are just a few suggested sessions are held monthly on the 2nd Thursday in Palm Coast and will focus on hands-on projects such as:

Edge-to-edge quilting and quilting borders

Designing and creating your own appliqués
-
Making lace and specialty embroidery designs
-
Additional creative techniques as the series grows

Class Cancellations/Refunds:

Classes canceled by Cut Up and Sew will be fully refunded to each student or, if preferred, students may receive store credit.

If you are unable to make a class or event, please contact Cut Up and Sew 72 hours/3 days prior to the start date of such class or event to receive a full refund.

There are no refunds for cancellations made less than 72 hours/3 days before the start date of a class. Your class fee can be applied towards another class or returned in the form of store credit.

There are no refunds on class fees for "Special Event" or outside teachers/classes within 30 days of the event date unless we can fill your spot with another person.

Refunds will not be provided for "No Shows".

If you have a major emergency and need to cancel your attendance at a class, up to the time of such class we will work with you to either make up the class or provide you with a store credit.
