Been afraid to try free motion quilting? Come let me hold your hand...you'll learn ALL the basics and more! You'll learn how much fun free motion quilting on your domestic machine can be! We REALLY do start at the very beginning! This class is for YOU! You'll come away with new found confidence and a sampler you can refer to for many different designs...that you'll create! Come on...let's start the fun!
*WE ARE PROVIDING A KIT THAT INCLUDES FABRIC, BUT PLEASE SEE SUPPLY LIST BELOW FOR OTHER ITEMS NEEDED...
Supply List
Sewing machine – CLEANED and in good working order! PLEASE DO NOT bring a small “travel” machine as these don’t tend to do well.

Power Cord and Foot Pedal...please!
Feed Dogs DOWN
Extension table - this is a MUST
Free motion quilting foot - If you have more than one, bring them all. We will talk about them
Single hole needle plate - If you don't have one, DO NOT go and buy one! I have a trick that you can use and you can buy one at a later date
Regular sewing supplies
505 Spray (or pins for basting if you prefer)
Thread (2 different color spools) - Each spool needs to be a contrast from the other. This is so we can get your tensions right during class.
Quilting Gloves
Top Stitch Needle 90/14
Drawing paper and a pencil - School lined paper is fine
Willingness to make mistakes!

It's all one flowing word with no hiccups. SEE! You got it! Anyway! Here are a few fun things to know about me: * I'm a HUGE people person! * POSITIVE person! * Like to challenge myself to try new things! * VERY creative! (this can keep me up at night!) * Laughter is KEY! * Have my OWN alphabet! (My loving husband made each letter of the alphabet describe me! It's BEAUTIFUL!!! CHERISHED!!! And Framed!) * Completed a complex puzzle in nursery school and stunned the teachers! * Originally from Morristown, New Jersey. * Live In the South! Mobile, Alabama (I'm not confused!) * Been sewing since I was 13 yrs old...(we won't say how long that is...just know it's been ALL my life! NO long arm is necessary! You can use your DOMESTIC sewing machine! ALL the quilts on this website have been sewn and quilted on my domestic sewing machine! Come on! ?Play with me! There is Nothing more fun and satisfying than to share what you love with others who then become successful! Traveling and teaching are two of my favorite things.
