Fabric Rope Bowl Basics

These lovely and useful rope baskets and/or coasters will warm up any home. They make great quick and easy gifts great for the holidays or housewarming.

In this class you will learn the techniques used to complete a small rope basket and a coaster. Once you have this knowledge, you can apply the same techniques to any size bowl or coasters!

Supply list:

Rope kit is part of your class fee
20 - 1" WOF strips for desire fabric
Thread - 40wt or 50wt (to match your fabric)
Jean needle (size 100/15)
Bobbins (2 or 3 to be safe with matching thread for fabric)
Sewing machine with Zig Zag stitch
Extension table if you have one for your machine
Small ruler
Open toe or zigzag foot
Sewing clips or Wonderclips
Scissors
Pins
Glue Stick
