Big Bag Talk

Are you interested in designing your own one-of-a-kind tote bag with boxed corners? Or maybe you are looking for tips and resources that can increase your bag making skills. This 3 part series is for all bag making skills levels. The format for these 2 1/2 hours classes is discussion/demos and show and tell. 

Session#1. Wednesday, January 18. 10-12:30ish

Topic: Structure and Design. How to size a bag to fit what you want and consider the options for materials that you can use for the outer fabric, interfacing and lining.

Session #2. Wednesday, January 25. 10-12:30

Topic: Zipper and Pockets. How to insert a zipper using two different techniques. Consider options for creating pockets -inside and out.

Session #3. Wednesday, February 1. 10-12:30

Topic: Straps/handles. Materials and techniques for creating straps and ways to secure the top of your bag. This will include talk about bag hardware.

Each session is $10, or take all three for $25. Joshua will also gift you a $5 gift card when you attend each session. There will not be any refunds or makeup classes offered if you miss a session.
