Collage Quilt - the Laura Heine Way

Join us for this super fun class where you will learn how to make a collage quilt...the Laura Heine way! This class will teach students a collage technique unique to Laura Heine and her beautiful designs! In this class you will learn about the tools for success, collage basics, recognizing details in fabric that add to your design, and making your work unique!

We have lots of Laura Heine patterns in stock, but if we don't have the one you want, let us know and we'll place an order for you!

Supply list: (Each pattern will have its own supply list to follow but below are some additional items needed)

Fabric - (we recommend grabbing your scraps first)
Pattern Ease
Steam-a-Seam 2
Paper cutting scissors
Rotary cutter with a new blade and mat
Fabric fusion glue or Aileen’s Fuse Fabrics
Frixion pen
#2 Pencil
Karen K Buckley scissors: the turquoise is all you really need. If you have the larger purple it is nice to use for longer cuts.

You can get all of the supplies at Cut Up & Sew! You will receive a 15% discount on any supplies if you are registered for class!

Class Cancellations/Refunds:

Classes canceled by Cut Up and Sew will be fully refunded to each student or, if preferred, students may receive store credit.
If you are unable to make a class or event, please contact Cut Up and Sew 72 hours/3 days prior to the start date of such class or event to receive a full refund.
There are no refunds for cancellations made less than 72 hours/3 days before the start date of a class. Your class fee can be applied towards another class or returned in the form of store credit.
There are no refunds on class fees for "Special Event" or outside teachers/classes within 30 days of the event date unless we can fill your spot with another person.
Refunds will not be provided for "No Shows".
If you have a major emergency and need to cancel your attendance at a class, up to the time of such class we will work with you to either make up the class or provide you with a store credit.

Instructor Bio:	New to Florida, but not new to quilting, JoAnn is looking forward to this opportunity to teach at Cut up and Sew. First taught to sew in her teens by her best friend?s mother, sewing quickly became a passion. Back then she made her clothes then her kids clothes, her kids friends clothes, and her kids doll clothes. Later, another friend introduced her to quilting. That led to a lifelong passion for quilting and fabric collection (two different pursuits you know). She has taught at several quilt shops and is certified as both a Laura Heine Collage teacher and Quilt in a Day teacher. JoAnn, her husband and their dog Cody left family, friends and perfect weather behind and now resides in Palm Coast Florida.
