Sewing 101: Drawstring Bag

You'll learn to sew a drawstring bag, great for carrying treasures or as a gift bag. In this class you will learn much more about fabric, grain and bias, lining, top stitching and securing your stitch. You will also learn how to properly use a rotary cutter, ruler and cutting mat.

Sewing machine in good working order, power cord, foot pedal, manual
All-Purpose Thread – neutral color
2 or 3 bobbins
Sewing Scissors
Seam Ripper
Straight pins
Fabric kit (included)
Frixion Erasable Highlighter Pen (available at Cut Up & Sew)
Rotary cutters, rulers and cutting mates will be available for your use at the class, or bring your own
