Beginning Quilting 101

Do you want to learn how to quilt, but don't know where to start? Then this series is for you! 

In these 9 week classes you will learn:

  • how to select fabric and determine the value
  • what fabric grain is and the proper way it should go
  • how to use a rotary cutter, mat, and ruler
  • how to assemble a 9 patch block and the Monkey Wrench block
  • the proper way to put on borders and binding
  • how to layer and quilt your quilt using a walking foot

LOCATION:  Cut Up and Sew Classroom

SUPPLY LIST: No supplies or equipment are necessary for the first class. During the first class, we will review the supplies and tools needed in future classes.

Basic sewing machine in good working order, with power cord, foot pedal, and machine manual.

  **NOTE**   All fabric must be washed and ironed before the second class.

**Please DO NOT wear any Perfume or any Scented body products to class, we have staff and customers that are very sensitive.
