Sew Much Fun for Kids This Summer!

We are SEW excited to bring you another summer filled with fun, creative, and skill-building sewing classes just for kids!

This year, we’re offering a variety of classes for different skill levels. While we provide age suggestions, they are just that—suggestions! If your child is comfortable and ready, they are welcome to join any class. We do recommend taking classes in stages to help them build confidence and grow their skills.

Machines are available for use, but we encourage students to bring their own.
Each class has its own supply list, which you’ll find under its description.

Kid Class Stages	Description	Age
Stage 1: Beginner	Perfect for kids who have never sewn before or need a refresher. This class covers sewing machine basics, safety, and simple beginner projects.	8+
Stage 2: Confident Stitcher	For kids who have taken at least one class at Cut Up and Sew or own a sewing machine and are comfortable using it. Students will work on projects that build on basic skills.	10+
Stage 3: Skilled Sewist	Designed for students who have taken three or more Cut Up and Sew kids’ classes. These students are confident in their skills and ready for more detailed, technique-focused projects.	12+
