Hot. Hot, Hot Plate Accuquilt Block

You would have to see it to believe it. When completed, this project holds a ceramic floor tile that when heated will be used as a trivet. It will keep your delicious dish warm and your table safe. For the morning class, Kathy will be showing you how to get the most out of your Accuquilt Qube. (any size, for whatever size tile you have or purchase). If you own a Destiny, Kathy will show you how to use your sensor pen for perfect placement of your stitches. If you don’t own a Destiny (we can fix that) you will use a decorative stitch. YOU DO NOT NEED TO KNOW HOW TO EMBROIDERY or HAVE AN EMBROIDERY MACHINE. The second half of the day for Destiny owners 1:30 pm – 4:00 pm.

SUPPLY LIST: Free Accuquilt “Spinner” pattern (given at class), 3 Fat Quarters and 1/2 yard for lining, thread (for decorative stitch) basic sewing supplies, batting (30” X 20” thin cotton, warm and natural recommended), Needle: 80/90 or Denim. We will have Accuquilt 12 “Qube and cutter available for use (feel free to bring yours if you would like). Floor Tile from Lowes or Home Depot 12 X 12 is what is used, 6”X8” piece of steam a seam, Stabilizer: no show mesh and tearaway to fit your hoop (HOOP SIZE depends on tile size) bring
9 1/2 X 9 1/2 or 8 X 12 Hoop
MACHINE REQUIREMENTS: sewing/embroidery machine if a Destiny, walking foot or digital dual feed, bring your hoops listed above and your embroidery unit.
